As far as she can remember, there has never been a time when music wasn’t a part of Leea’s life. From growing up with her parents music playing around the house to being enveloped by music at University, Leea has developed an eclectic range of musical tastes and styles.

Leea studied classical vocals from the age of 12 and later developed a passion for contemporary vocals and songwriting which led her on her journey of study at The University Of Auckland, Majoring in Popular Music.

Since completing her bachelor, Leea has been accompanying and fronting various styles of Music all over Auckland. She also found joy in passing on her love of singing and songwriting with private tutoring and work through schools. She uses different elements of her studies to excite and engage students whilst giving them a boost of creativity and confidence.

A songwriter from a young age, Brayden has always held an earnest fascination for the creative process. After discovering the Popular Music degree at Auckland University, he moved to Auckland in 2011 where he developed his skills in composition and performance whilst honing his abilities as a guitarist and a vocalist.

Since leaving the University of Auckland, Brayden has worked for a number of projects, composing for short films, children’s television and playing in various bands, including his own garage rock trio, ‘Duck Duck Goose’. In 2016, Brayden ventured into one of his most ambitious projects yet, writing the music and lyrics for, ‘Schlunted’, a full length musical written, rehearsed and produced in the space of 100 Days.

Brayden believes in music tutors that are compassionate and enthusiastic about their students musical and creative development. He has strong memories of a handful of teachers that helped sculpt his passion into a viable career, and encouraged him to become the musician he is today. It’s these memories that have lead Brayden into teaching music himself, where he hopes he can provide for his students, the same level of enthusiasm, personal challenge and musical freedom that was available to him growing up.

Jesse fell in love with music at the age of 13 after inheriting his mother’s first guitar. He then went on to discover the joy and groove of playing the bass, inspired by gospel funk and heavy metal. The joy of playing very quickly turned into a passion as he spent the next 4 years playing for bands in his church and school. He also became a musical director for many projects.

Jesse then started gigging almost every week, gaining all the experience he could along the way to realising his dream of becoming a professional musician. In 2014 Jesse decided to take his musicianship to the next level by enrolling at MAINZ in Auckland. He became a session musician after successfully completing his Bachelor of Musical Arts there.

Since starting on this journey he has had great success playing for up to 8 active projects at a time across various genres and has been blessed to play at some of the best venues in NZ. It has also been his honour to work on some great records with renown international producers and other like-minded session musicians at Roundhead studios and others in Auckland.

Jesse has a passion for song writing and believes that music should be something that you do for fun and with passion and love to fulfil your creative soul. As he says “Too many times have I seen talented people be put off playing music just because they were forced into it. I aim to change that in the way I teach and share my knowledge”
